RESOURCES

Contact Paulding Pregnancy Services if you need someone to talk to about your sexual health. We offer free pregnancy tests, ultrasound, and community resources. Speak with a nurse and get options counseling (Adoption, Abortion, and Parenting). We also offer pregnancy support and help. Our Earn While You Learn program allows you to be educated on important prenatal, pregnancy, and parenting topics while earning free items for your baby! We also offer help and support after abortion. Plus, a great Dad Boot Camp for guys to learn about newborn care. All services are free, confidential, and open to residents in and around Paulding County.

Not only do we provide the services listed above, we also offer a safe place to have these conversations. Most of the staff that works here at PPS have experienced abortion, unplanned pregnancy, sex outside of marriage, and/or teen pregnancy. Because of our own experiences and knowing that nearly half of all pregnancies in the U.S. are unplanned, and almost half of those pregnancies will end in abortion, is what compels us to serve our community. We can do better than abortion and there is hope for our families.

If you are reading this and facing an unexpected pregnancy and can't possibly see how you can keep the pregnancy, please reach out for help. Although it may be a crisis situation, the crisis won't last forever. There are women and men here at PPS who have been in your shoes, who are for you, and here to walk along side with you.

What is abortion?

Guttmacher recently reported that medical abortions make up just over 60% of all documented abortions in the U.S. (Jones, R. K., & Friedrich-Karnik, A. , 2024). As with any medication or medical procedure, it is important that you are fully informed about the procedure, possible risks, and side effects from each one.
The videos that follow are presented by OB/GYNs who have performed abortions. These videos walk through exactly how an abortion is performed and the risks involved.  These short videos are a must see for anyone who is considering  or vulnerable to abortion or knows of someone who is! Post-Abortion Support

Did you know that Post-Abortion Syndrome is real? The abortion industry would like you to think that there's no such thing, leaving many women and men to suffer in silence.

Post-Abortion Syndrome is the residual pain of abortion that presents as mental and/or physical turmoil. It can be present shortly after having an abortion or it may not present until many years later. Many women and men in their 50s, 60s, and 70s still struggle with their abortion decision made in their young adult life.

Symptoms may include depression, anxiety, alcohol and drug abuse, guilt, uncontrollable crying, anger, nightmares, eating disorders, relationship problems and suicidal thoughts.

Abortion has a deep ripple effect but there is hope and redemption for anyone struggling after having an abortion or has been involved in an abortion decision.  For help, support, and healing after an abortion there are many options for both men, women, and anyone who has been involved in an abortion. Below is a list of many different local resources to reach out to for help. All uphold the strictest of confidentiality and are led by women and men who have had abortions in their past.
